Southern Chimney and Fireplace was founded in North Georgia in 1999.
We specialize in fireplace, wood stove, gas log and chimney installations.
We also offer full service chimney cleaning, chimney inspections and masonry repairs.
Our wood and gas burning showroom is located in Clarkesville, GA but our service area stretches from Athens Georgia to Blue Ridge Ga and from Gainesville, GA to all the way to North Carolina. Our amazing staff of certified chimney professionals can handle everything from installing chimney caps and fixing leaky chimneys to building fireplaces and installing wood stoves.

Who We Are
Southern Chimney and Fireplace serves northeast Georgia, Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. Our gas and woodburning showroom is convenient to Clayton, Cleveland, Cornelia and Toccoa Georgia.
We are members of the National Chimney Sweep Guild and the North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association. Our wonderful staff holds many certifications, including CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) NFI (National Fireplace Institute and CCP (Certified Chimney Professional)

What We Do
Chimney Cleaning
Chimney cleaning is an important part of home maintenance. If you use your fireplace for burning wood, the products of incomplete combustion (soot & creosote) can build up.
Chimney Inspections
An annual chimney inspection is recommended by the National Fire Protection Association for all solid fuel burning appliances and fireplaces.
Chimney Installations
Southern Chimney and Fireplace staff are trained and certified to install chimney pipe, stovepipe, chimney liners and even masonry chimney flue.
Chimney Caps
All chimneys require a chimney cap for protection. Water will, over time, erode the chimneys crown which will require costly repairs. Water damage inside a chimney can be even more expensive to repair.
Masonry
Masonry ideas or issues? Southern Chimney and Fireplace has several full-time employees on staff who can handle any brick or stone chimney repair. We can handle any masonry job.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Like chimney vents, dryer vents require disciplined attention and periodic cleaning. This helps maintain efficient and safe operation.
